I don't know why I haven't used this tool before! I just read about it on twitter and then started to use it. I was looking for a way to showcase what students felt was their fundamental learning in our unit, but to do so using web 2.0 tools. I was looking for this tool and thankfully, it was discovered!
Voki is a free tool where students can create an avatar and then type in text that their character would speak for them. This will be an excellent tool to use with our students in homeschool as well as all the students who enjoy web 2.0 learning.
